CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

The proposed development option is a subsea tieback to an FPSO.

Technically challenging project with several technical novelties/innovations within the client and oil & industry – long tie-back distance (~30km), Production flowline heating solution (DEH) at maximum water depth with some qualification, Subsea brownfield tie-in to existing facilities, Constrained flowlines & umbilical layout/routing (Seabed disturbance, Geohazards, DEH constraints, several crossings), Novel material technology-CRA cladded/lined flowline, potentially with Mechanically-Lined Pipe (MLP), Flowline S-lay in deepwater, Large scale deployment of long Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) for water injection jumpers.

Heavy workload with tight FEED schedule and activities leading to FID.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Professional Experience: minimum 15 years

Experience within project: Experiences in the Engineering of Subsea Manifolds, FLETs, ILTs, Subsea Jumpers and Connection Systems, and SUTs.
To have experience in the application of industry standards and codes related to subsea hardware and systems such as API 6A & 17D, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, API RP-17P, API RP-17R, API RP-2A, as well as ISO, DNV and NORSOK equivalent standards.
To have knowledge of the main Subsea hardware suppliers' engineering and manufacturing processes.
