Position: Data center Project Manager (Electromechanical)

Location: Indonesia.

Context:

A huge datacenter is going to be built in Indonesia. Our client will be in charge of the electrical (LV and MV) distribution and protection, fire protection, air conditionning, plumbing and security

Main activities :

• Be the primary contact between Contractor and Client for all project matters and manages all activities of the project team during the execution of the project
• Manage the project budget and periodic cost to completion reforecast
• Responsible for the contract management and claim preparation
• Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout project execution
• Ensure supplies and equipment are procured and delivered according to schedule
• Approve the selection of Vendors and Subcontractors in coordination with Contractor’s local management
• Prepare all necessary reports as per Client requirements
• Prepare billing documents as per Client’s requirements
• Effectively communicate with the Engineering team to ensure the timely release of design deliverables (shop drawings)
• Plan construction operations and coordinate all trades to ensure project deadlines and milestones are met
• Keep all stakeholders aware of the project progress
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
• Supervise the preparation of the project HSE plan and ensure its implementation together with the project HSE team
• Carry out regular site HSE safety inspections
• Promote a positive safety culture
• Maintain quality and environmental control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Requirements :

• Fluency in English is mandatory
• 10+ years of proven relevant experience in large multi-discipline projects (USD 20,000,000)
• Good understanding of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) trades
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Experienced in driving various subcontractors
