Missions / Service dimensions

• Hierarchical relationship: CSR
• To supervise a high degree of EIT activities during the construction/precommissioning activities for the Platform (Wellhead platform, jacket, topsides).
• To ensure proper coordination between construction and pre-commissioning activities .
• To provide technical guidance to contractor and subcontractor work teams.
• Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP) and OPERCOM methodology
• The Job holder may also have to be involved in his discipline activities during WHP Topsides hook-up, installation and offshore commissioning phases.

• To achieve and to make achieve to the personnel, contractors / subcontractors the HSE rules of Contractor and of the Company.
• To achieve the goals and annual aims of the Project.
• To participate in HSE audits and visits to construction sites.
• To raise anomalies cards for any unsafe/safe situation observed
• During construction and pre-commissioning phases, the job holder shall (or shall ensure through his Yard Supervisors):
– Participate to KOM with Contractor/Subcontractor with reference to Discipline matters;
– Review the relevant Contractor’s and suppliers ITP’s and procedures (in coordination with EIT discipline);
– Monitor and control the implementation on site of the approved drawings and plans, Surveillance plans, Inspection and test plans;
– Monitor and control CTR’s daily / weekly progress report for construction for all EIT activities
– Monitor the work deficiencies and ensure the implementation of the necessary corrective actions;
– Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued;
– Stop & report immediately to CSR any anomaly or non-conformity;
– Attend and participate in daily meetings; Attend, when requested, the various construction meetings, and provide support to the CSR in its various reviews
– Participate to construction, HSE or QAQC specific audits or visits; Provide regular inspection & activity reports.
– Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued;
– Review and approve the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor and/or Subcontractors/Vendors’ on a daily basis.
– Review and approve the installation of RFID tags and All Ex equipment
– Use the WHP Topsides 3D model tool to check/to anticipate potential clash during Shelter construction
– Ensure that Contractor and Vendors personnel are qualified for the task they’ve been assigned to.
– Issue Non-Conformance reports or review Contractor Non-Conformance reports and validate dispositions. Intervene as necessary where warranted.
– Issue and/or participate in the issuance/resolution of Deviation and TQ applicable to EIT discipline with support of relevant disciplines engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation, telecom)
– Assist reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report and lesson learnt.
– To verify the completeness and correctness of the as built drawings and manage the final project documentation and ensure the complete handover to CPY Commissioning team.
• To monitor and report preparation of COW activities if any.

• Confirmed EIT expertise, with at least 15 years’ experience in large international projects (offshore platform)
• Electrical experience: practical knowledge of HV and LV Technical rooms, power layout, equipment layout, earthing & lighting layout technique
• Instrumentation experience : practical knowledge of cabinet installation, hydraulic line installation
• Background with oil and gas company. General Specifications
• Strong Knowledge of OPERCOM / ICAPS Methodology
• A good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication, inspection and pre-commissioning.
• Fluency in English.
